| man last nite was fluckin cool. all 3 sets were badass and energetic. I was telling Zild (first DJ right? had Jesus hair...:)) that i never really could get into "breaks" (you know zabelia sp? style) but his set actually had me chillin out and getting into it. next dude was that guy that plays house music, dude played a killer set also, moderate to high energy prepared the floor well for trance and Dave. then there was Dave, killer set bro i really enjoyed it. he had the dance floor going until 2:20am. anyway great nite out, and if i have no exams on next thur then ill be out there again. oh and SATA's need to hang out more man.....i need to get to know everyone better so that way i can actually hold a conversation with 'em. and Packer: we need to hang out too....hopefully since i quit my job at U-Haul ill be post-whoring it more and chillin with yall. Thanks for the kind words. Last night goes to show that people in SA are capable of listening to EDM for the entire night and not bitch. It just has to be marketed properly and it has to be consistent.
Jacob (Zild) played a really good opener set. i apologize that the CD decks sucked ass. Maybe we can ask the club to replace them. The Progressive Breaks you played were on point and settled everyone. I was impressed as always.
Jeffery played a Progressive Trance set, which surprised me because he's been dabbling in the techy stuff lately. His sets are always fresh because of all the promos he's getting and I was glad to have him out.
I had a blast closing it out. I love playing those 2 hour sets, but I felt so exhausted after it. I really put a lot into it and I was really fatigued. I was glad to finally play that Sander van Doorn remix of "Message in a Bottle". The crowd seemed to like it.
Next week we have some Drum & Bass (Yeah, for reals...in a club) and some House. I'm looking forward to it already. |
