Hey man,

I love the chilled vibe.

I think the track could benefit from a little more percussion, and I think the kick needs a little EQ'ing. Sounds kinda punchy, if that makes sense, but it could be my headphones.

The tune sounds a bit empty.. maybe some FX or additional pads? A few more layers would certainly help :)

Your idea is cool - I dig the melancholic sound.

Thanks for sharing,
Trev

cool ideas in this track...

However, as sooper said, try filling it up a bit more with more percussion and fx to make it sound more full...

Interesting track, just give it a bit more work :)

The kick could use some better eqing. It's a little too punchy and doesn't have much bass sound to it. Maybe it's just a bad sample? Some pads would give it a more full sound also. Around 2:00 maybe adding a louder pad would do more for the track. Adding more fx would also give the track some more excitement to the tune. It's a little too repetitive around the 2:45 section. The track has some nice sounds to it, but definitely add some more fx and the track will be that much better.

Hey mate =)

Yeah I tend to agree with the comments re the percussion. The kick doesnt have enough bottom end. Try something like ozone and give it some harmonic boost in the low end. The snare it too short also, it could really use a reverb tail.

Otherwise, all the elements are nicely done. Piano/clavia sound is very nice especially. I think the pads/strings could be given more prescene or layers to fill them out, unless your trying to go for a real minimal feel.

Thanks for the update =)

thanx axolotyl:)

im a fan of the clavia/80's E.P sound also. its such a cheap sound but it works well imo.

i posted this on the m.i.k.e forum and i got a reply from m.i.k.e himself. which was cool!

thanks again guys for your feedback and support. ill take it into consideration when i start on the follow up track..

rich:)
