Both are bad, IMO. I have seen too many people in my neighbourhood use both meth and coke or one or the other and their lives up as well as others. The cokeheads I have seen are NOT rich business men. Where I live it is the prostitutes & strippers who use coke and meth to keep them going and to keep their John happy. It's a sick cycle.
I have not yet seen a highly functional cokehead and if there is one, it is an oxymoron. |

You're comparing different levels of addiction here. What you say is true (in general) because meth is actually far more addictive than coke; however, coke addicts do not keep those high-paying jobs (or anything else in their lives) for very long.
Think about it - a dude who's just done an 8-ball of crystal has a good 12 hours of intense motivation and concentration ahead of him. But someone who's just snorted a line of coke has about 15 minutes of being completely off the wall, 3 hours of being a complete to everyone around him, followed by an indefinite period of feeling sorry for himself until the next line.
It's really a silly question though - addiction to anything is horrible. |

I dont know that i really have an opinion, but i guess id prolly say meth (though i despise coke just as much)
its sketchy to hear the tales of ppl cooking up their own meth and then accidents or mistakes happen (its not that hard) and chem fires start and large explosions often ensue and lives are destroyed, ppl killed or severely burned and maimed by the chemical fires and shrapnel. there was an article about the west coast's meth problem a few months back in Time i believe. it was a horrible and disgusting thing to read. :(

ive heard told that coke is very often employed by many strippers - often helps them do their thing... often the only way they are able to continue doing it... :(
which is sad - if you have to get high to be able to get the balls to do you job. strip if you like the money and it doesn't offend or bother your sensibilities - nothing wrong with stripping imo.
but to have to do drugs in order to be able to do such a job is sad and a horrible cycle to get stuck in and put urself through. |

the difference between meth and coke to me is simple.
I find it easier to take a hit of speed maybe once a month to dance all nite and get the retard out of me (it feels good too)
if i do coke, i find myself wanting more and more.
that is why i stay away from regular coke usage as i find with speed i am able to do 1 and be happy with that. |

I don't know if I necessarily believe that whole story or not..
there were a lot of things left out of that story to be able to judge or not |
