| Nice chilled remix you have there onion. The pads are lovely.. i'm not overly fond of the percs that sit right at the front (bongos maybe?).. its like the track is laid back but they are very driven, donno.. |

Yeh thats the idea mangz... the original mix is a driving track, so I wanted to keep that while giving it a different, more emotional spin to it. The sample is a bongo... and I too was a bit reluctant in using it... Im thinking of placing it further back in the track and maybe replace or add a snare with it.
glad u like it |

| paying for samples. fk the record companies have gotten smart.. do you know how much money they are gonna make ? :) they arent the first to do this either. |

probably about time they got smart lol - they''ve all been pretty stupid for a long time now.
with sharing etc these days, i guess i can understand their point of making you pay for samples - because once you release them it's pretty much the end of the line for the tune. it is only $5 though.
what do you mean they're not the first? first to run a remix comp? first to make you pay for samples? |

yeah, not the first time a record company charged for samples.. someone else did it recently. from a business perspective it is the smart way to go but if i were to run a compo i dont think i would.. i mean if someone subbed a winner remix then you're sure to make good record sales. but whatever floats their boat ;)
