fo sho. For general quietness and safety, you can't beat Sauga.
And the people saying North York must be mad. It's filled with immigrants (Russian immigrants, which are even worse), and has a load of shady dealings everywhere. |

North York is very nice,especially Sheppard/Yonge area and all the way to the north.
otherwise i suggest Rosedale... my friend got his street patroled by security guard atleast 10-15 times a day =) |

exactly (if you can afford it)
if you don't live there, you aren't welcome, lol...the police will be called by someone if they see sketchy people walking through :D
Cabbagetown proper is nice, quiet...Beaches...High Park...Annex...etc.
I feel *far* safer pretty much anywhere downtown than in the surrounding burbs! |

I have heard good things about Milton, but it won't be long before it goes downhill.
My neighbourhood used to be absolutely ideal, no problems whatsoever, it was paradise. Then they built townhouses nearby and its all gone downhill... Gangsters, thugs, drug dealing, to name a few.
In our own little crescent we just recently got new neighbours with gangster children. Literally the neighbourhood has gone to with the thug and his friends trespessing and commiting all kinds of acts, while the police say they can't do anything.
As a neighbourhood, we have continously made life difficult for them, and they have decided to move..
Guess where?
