I don’t think most people on this site know quality when they hear it. Listen closely to the music in this song and you will hear nothing but quality!
Very good track.

I don't think most people on this site knows quality when they hear it. That's why they hype and praise cheesy low budget vocal crap like this. Just what they did when Armins Shiver was released.
That is my opinion. |

ears i'm sorry...i'll never do that to you again...
ok seriously now. when i listen to this song...this is why i don't like it. first, the instrumentation isn't very creative. the bassline is about as generic as it gets. there isn't much besides that and i feel like above & beyond have felt restricted in what they can do because of the vocals in the tune. as for the vocals, they don't seem to be very well written for a couple of reasons. one, and this is obviously a personal preference, i don't find them very interesting...i don't like this metaphor they are trying to use and once again seems very generic to me. there doesn't seem to be any genuine emotion to them and they've stretched to create this artificial metaphor. second, the notes of the vocals are awkward. i'm assuming that's justine sussia singing and she does have a beautiful voice, but like any instrument...vocals are a combination of notes and whoever told her to sing those notes really should not be giving any kind of input on a song. the fact that the tonal contruction of the lyrics is awkward just adds once again to the very generic feeling to the song for me and it comes across as a tune that was put together rather quickly and without any real meaning and creative ambition.
so there...i'm not trying to be elitist and just hate on whatever...i'm telling you what i don't like, but of course all of you that like it will just ignore what i've said bla bla bla and fail to realize any of my argument...the case being that even if you disagree with my points...atleast perhaps you could admit that they are valid reasons for not liking a tune... |

Worst lyrics from Oceanlab yet. The tune otherwise is alright though. |

| difficult for me to judge... as it's only a short sample that doesn't even include the main chorus, or any breakdowns and buildups, sounds pretty good so far though... be keen to hear the full track :) |

| I like it very much! Original is much better than Kyau vs. Albert Remix. |

To be honest with you, it doesn't really have much in the way of breakdowns, and no particular chorus as such either - but if you want to listen to the whole song, go to the Anjunabeats website, and click on the red bar at the bottom. That will stream their radio show from this week, and Sirens Of The Sea is the second track in. |
