Im willing to bet 5 dollars they make more off a well attended PvD gid than a well attended JZ gig. |
You can't get anyone on TA to understand something like that though. |

| Stop whining about pvd, He charges what the market will bear. If you don't believe he's worth it then don't go to see him. Now if you don't mind, let's get back to bashing Dave Dresden. :stongue: |

| Has Swamper ever validated that the guy using that name on TA is actually Dresden? That would be the ultimate owned if it was someone else, on a bigger level than the net-trannies. |

I think it's more along the lines of he charges too much for what he offers. Considering his performances have declined from what they once were back in 2000-2001 or so, he shouldn't charge 36846549584654 dollars to put on a 3 hour set of mediocrity. Nor should he charge fans $25-50 to see him spin only three hours when other djs such as Lawler and the like who are on fire are only charging about 15-20. |
The DJ doesnt choose the clubs cover charge, the promoter does. |

yes, according to how much the dj needs to be paid and how much the other promoters/employees need to be paid...
so, cover charge go up in direct proportion to how much the dj wants to get paid.
the whole point of the night is to make money for all staff and the dj. |
