2 cdj800's work fine for me, you don't need any more fancy than those at home imo.

How do you have 2 turntables and 2 cdj's on a 3 channel mixer :conf:

Phono/line switch, I presume. On most 3-channel mixers, you should be able to hook up six devices, but you can only use three at once.

Oh whatt... thats intersting I never knew that Trogdor....

I have a Vestax PCV-275, would I be able to have 2 Turntables running and two cdj's? But I would only be able to use 3 OF them live?... and just switch whenever I want to use the other?

thanks in advance Trogdor!

here is back of my mixer..(CDJ's would go in LINE in correct?)

i rented a cdj 200 last weekend and it was pretty good. it plays mp3`S..not that its important for me. I got the hang of it pretty much at once, but im gonna go for the cdj 800`s or the 1000`s, because i just love the platter them babies and since i play vinyl its closer to what i do and want. so im just gonna wait and save up for it..

Indeed, it is possible, not perfect but possible. I've dedicated both the far left and right channels to both a TT and a CDJ, just a matter of switching. I'm planning to get myself a 4 channel (Nou5 or Dateq Vibe) mixer quite soon though.

2 Sound Of Trance: Yes you can connect 2 TT's (Phono) and 2 CDJ's (Line) to your vestax just like the XTC. You can even have 3 TT's and 3 CDJ's connected ;)

You can also decide to use the middle channel for one CDJ/TT so you've got always one CDJ/TT on a live channel.

Does it work well? Or do you find it is an annoyance during mixing...

because I was expecting to buy another $700 mixer to hook up 2 more CDJ's, this method will save me a shiet load of money, im just hoping it works perfectly if you switch from line/phono?

I'm quite used to it and it works fine, but whith a 4 channel mixer it'll be easier to prepare a mix.

If you have enought Budget, buy 2 CDJ1000mks (not CDJ1000) or if youare on tight budget get 2CDJ800 or maybe 1 CDJ1000mk2 and 1 CDJ800. you'll like it both.
