I did indeed. I prefer it to most others, maths involved and everything, also concentration needs to be high at all points.

Playing darts is fun when combined with drinking, but I wouldnt call it a sport. To me, sports involve stuff like being in shape and physical exertion. I was watching the poker championship and they referred to the guys as atheletes. I was like wtf!? Darts, pool, poker, etc, I would consider a skill. Just my opinion.

Werd, my father is 58, overweight, and has a heart condition.... if he can play it then it fails to qualify as a sport.... like curling or bowling.

Hey, curling is definately a sport. I curl and there is a lot of skill, balance and physical strength needed. I would say it qualifies as a sport....now if they had body checking it would be just awesome.

For darts though the same pretty much applies in my opinion.

A lot of skill is involved, its hardly the easiest of games to play (unless you want to try and be lucky), a thrower's balance has to be correct or else it will go wrong. Physical strength maybe not but the right amount of force and speed of the dart has to be taken into consideration.

+ I would so kick your ass. As an amateur I knocked out top 16 Ranked (Holland) players a few times. :wtf:

if you can drink while doing it, it's a game... not a sport.

try playing darts when you're high on coke... it's sooo fun and you're like 100x more accurate.

A Massive Zebra
Phil Taylor averaged over 100 with a double to start in his last two matches. Now that is just insanely ridiculously astounding.
