Thank You

some of you know my views and whatnot, but beside that hotly debated aspect, ide like to thank this forum for making me smarter.

debating in the past has taught me a few things.
-how to formulate my thoughts and convey them so that the reader can understand and respond.
-that i dont know it all
-aspects of different points of views and their correlation to my own view however controversial.

i can pop out a top-notch short essay in no more than 45 minutes. I can crank out a well-researched 10 page report in a few days. without our debates, which, when i wasnt working and in school, ide spend hours researching and typing, i would not have these skills i really need for my new credit union job, and for college.

so, ide just like to say thank you for making me smarter.

otis? Is that me?

Why do I feel like Lex Luthor's idiot sidekick?

Lex: "Costa Del Lex. Luthorville. Marina del Lex. Otisburg... Otisburg?"

Otis: "Miss Teschmacher, she's got her own place."

Lex: "Otisburg?"

Otis: "It's a little bitty place."

Lex: "OTISBURG?"

Otis: "Okay, I'll just wipe it off, that's all. Just a little town."

Sorry. And, you're welcome. And thanks as well. Despite our differences in viewpoints, you've always held a very good level of courtesy.

Regardless of what actually happens in this forum, you just KNOW everyone takes it with them to impress their friends and coworkers of their cosmopolitan opinions in any particular area covered here.

I must say the same, I have learnt to be a lot more efficent and formulate myself in a much better way since I started post in this forum. Also I think this forums helped me to learn English a lot better too (I'm not a language person, at all).

Ditto.

This forum vastly improved my vocabulary, english, and typing skills. When I started on this forum, I believe I was back in Israel...

In addition it helped me formulate well constructed arguments and essays spontaneously - which helped me get my Political Science degree with ridicilious ease as classmates complained.

My last graded writing was the GMAT exam where I got a 5/5. So I'm quiet proud of where my writing skill is today. Another interesting point (well I think so anyway), as my writing skill has increased the quality of my posts on PDD has decreased. :D

... Considering h0tsweetbabyd0l post; I've never met a PDD member in person nor do I communicate with them outside PDD regularly:(
