A groundbreaking dance music download website that features the world’s first automated mixing system has been launched.
MixAlbum.com users are able to pick which tracks to include on their own mix compilation, and then the system seamlessly blends the tunes automatically, with the final mix delivered as a download.
The system uses speed sensors and wave readers to seamlessly blend tracks, and the final mix is delivered as a one-track MP3 download that takes about 10 minutes to create.
The demo mixer allows you to test the system's mixing ability
The tracklist and artwork is sent in an email to users when the mix is ready to be downloaded.
“The site also has a demo mixer,” said Ian.
“We thought it was essential that people hear how tracks will sound next to each other before they confirm their final mix, and also because people didn’t think it would actually work!
“We needed people to be able to hear how good the mixing was.”
Currently the site has deals with a few hundred record labels to use their music on the website.

w00t..we have a winner
it surely runs on the same concept as tracktor and the likes for "automixing" and those up pretty bad when u try mixing 2 styles so its def not foolproof |
