i recently remixed a tune by canadian prepunk rocker carole pope, called "transcend"... "throw off this mortal coil, i dont need anything, i dont need anyone, i'm gonna transcend all of this".
it's defo about suicide.
i also remixed flesh by jan johnston a few years ago for perfecto, and i *thought* it was about suicide. but brian and jan say it isnt.
"heaven's forbidden, but i'm going soon/ kiss me one last time/before i take my flesh away"
anyway there you go. i was just in the middle of hanging myself, coincidentally!
