The answer any christian religion would give you is that belief is not a prerequisit for enterance into hell. Additionally, I should point out that none of the judeao-christian faiths believe hell to be a physical location... it is a state of being... it is being in the absence of god's love.

What if you believe that we are all on the Starship Enterprise and we are part of a Halo-Deck Program that has been running for eternity....The starship has been lost in space and Captain Picard and his merry men have all died because an unknow alien race infected them with the Ghey.

Cenk Uygur's perspective has been anticipated. As such I have prepared the following one word answer in response.

this reflects my views exactly.
IMO, the bible was a bunch of stories made up by ancient people to set a guideline on how to live. then it got out of hand, and people started believing all these characters were real.

religion is all about who has a better imaginary friend

all major problems in the world are caused one way or another by it
then when it gets out of hand, people seek solace in churches/mosques/synagogues by praying

isn't that ironic???
i saw that in someone's sig, its so true

A war over religion is an argument over whose imaginary friend is better.

This is the worst topic to discuss. I mean everyone is going to feel differently about it so I tell you now, it won't get anywhere.

I for one, do not believe in religion but do believe in God...I respect other people's views on the subject though.
