DjConfessions Eats Half His Popcorn for Saw 2

First off!
Hopefully, every reel of Saw 2 comes with the trailer for ANOTHER GRIZZLY Lions Gate Film: Hostel. It's somehow related to Quentin Terintino (ebonics?). "Do anything to anyone for a price." (Based on True Events) Some guy picks up a drill. Some guy rolls around on the ground, obviously with his tongue cut out. We see a few seconds of a boltcutter around someones toe and then it goes black and we hear a ::snip:: This was the perfect setup to Saw 2
anyways, i came into the movie with bad expectations, just wanting to see some blood and gore. There were some chinese kids with the Jigsaw doll halloween mask. i was like (so what). I bought a large popcorn and a large soda for 9.00.
The movie was A BLAST. It totally blew my mind and the original Saw has a worthy followup. Once again, there are so many scattered clues throughout the movie and it all comes together at the end. well, maybe. The last 10 minutes of the movie were pretty easy to figure out, and then the last 30 seconds just reassures u. There was blood, gore and more horrible ways to die.
we get to talk to Jigsaw himself throughout the movie as he shares his philosophy about life.
the movie centers a cop who gets pulled into the jigsaw's game when his "snitch" is murdered. A clue at the murder scene reveals Jigsaw's hideout and him as well as SWAT chase after. Upon reaching the house, we meet jigsaw and discovers the cops son is being held captive in a sick house along with a few others. The rest you have to see the believe.
one more thing, Amanda is back. Amanda, that name should ring a bell.
for those curious, here were the games:
the first scene in the movie involves a "snitch." He uses his eyes to get people in trouble. Jigsaw has implanted a key behind his right. This key will unlock a device around his head that works as a Venus Flytrap. Of course, he has to get the key by using a knife through his eye.
the 2nd death is stupid and some guy gets torched alive.
3rd one IS GREAT. Xavier is a drug dealer. He uses drugs to give people a temporary false sense of hope. His is given a temporary (3 minutes) chance to find hope (a key that will get him out of the house) through drugs (the key is in a pit full of needles and syringes). Xavier gets a little and throws Amanda into the pit. Of course, she starts crying and we see some horrible close ups of the needles going in her. Then she regains herself and starts FRANTICALLY looking for the key. OMG, she is shoveling the syringes side to side. This was MY highlight of the film. anyways, she finds the key but not in time.
One game is unexplained. The girl just throws her message away. The people in the house are breathing in a gas that will eventually kill them. throuhgout the house are hidden antidotes. Anyways, this girl finds the antidotes in abox hanging from the ceiling. There are two holes. She sticks her hand in the holes to grab the antidotes, only to realize that if she tries to remove her hands, they will be cut off. She tries to wrigle them out, but she only keeps cutting into her hands deeper. The door closes on her and we never see her again, although we do hear her screaming at various following scenes.
and of course, this wouldn't be saw without a little cutting off. Seems that they all have numbers tatooed on the back of their necks that reveal the combination to a safe containing an antidote. At the end of the movie, everyone is killing each other and the only ones left are Xavier, Amanda and the cops son. Xavier realizes that even if he kills the rest of them, he still wont find out his own number. So he CUTS THE SKIN OFF THE BACK OF HIS NECK!
AND STICKS IT IN HIS POCKET!
Believe this. This movie is gory, but it is all justified in making this movie better! Saw II > Saw I. Hands down. |

| cool, didn't want to read all the deaths but the movie's plot sounds a little more interesting. can't wait to see the movie totally ed out of my mind :D |
