CD Recorder Probs.

| I have this Sony RCD-W1, but im having alittle problem after i record my mixes. the stupid cd's wont play on anything else but the damn recorder! if i put it in my computer it acts like just another blank cd. anybody have any idea's what i can do? |

You know, thats what i think the problem is. maybe its not finalizing currectly. im gonna try some different cd-r's and see if it works. |

make sure they are cdr not cdrw- a lot of players are ty about playing cdrw's.
Hit finalize- wait a few seconds, then hit play. Should count down for a minute or so, then be ready to play.
I have the twin sony version- no problems here. Very good recorder. |

you make sure you use audio CD recordables, my recorder doesn't work with normal CDR's, I have to use audio CDR's
another small question, do you connect your cd-recorder to the record output your mixer or of your amplifier? |

Yeah it didn't finalize right. i took the cd out before it was finalized when i put it back to finalize it but i guess it doesn't work. it worked the last time i tried though thx guys. btw i was using Memorex Music CD-R's and its recording from the output of the amp |
