Well devian_23 and I headed over to system tonight and what a night it was. We got there early...as I always do and chilled out to some tunes until the main room opened. I don't recall who was opening for Deko-ze but man he laid down some sick beats.....I didn't want to go too hard tonight as lawler is tomorrow....ummm Today. Deko-ze came on and he kept me going. We were going to leave at 4 am but we decided to stick it out an extra half hour and boy am I glad we did.
You see we parked over by Duncan and Adelaide and as we were walking up Duncan Street we noticed several cop cars on the road and yellow police tape......we were not quite sure what was going on at first but we noticed that the cops were on the street that I parked on. From a distance I could see my vehicle and there was yellow police tape surrounding it. Devian_23 goes up to one of the officers and asks if we could go to our vehicle. The office advised us to go speak to one of the officers down by the vehicle. As we are walking towards the vehicle in the parking lot adjacent to the one we were in there were three cops with flash lights searching the ground. The first thing I thought was that they were looking for bullet casing. So we get up to the officer and ask if we can get our vehicle. The officer calls over the homicide detective who informs us that there were no bullet holes in my vehicle so we could take it.....WOW.....No Bullet Holes in my vehicle....lucky me. The cop let us out but apparently there had been a shooting not too long before we got there.
What topped it off was I had told devian_23 on the way there that I like to park there because it is safe :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

Aren & Tracy if you guys left too early they played some scooby doo cartoons after Shawn of the Dead..

dammit!!! missed Scooby Doo cartoons!!!
..well we left earlier cuz I needed a scooby snack and somehow velma needed one too. lol
t'Was a fabo night until then tho. Huge banging house in the mainroom, and wikid techno and sometimes even tech-trance in the front room thanx to mobius & stilez |

what an amazing night!
Got in nice and quick, and was greeted by a very happy deko-ze handing out candy to everybody. The beats were unbelieveable. J-Prez had a nice intro set that built up nicely to deko-ze's set. What can i say about deko-ze??? He is the man. I mean this guy pulls out track after banging track. His energy and dj'ing talents kept me going hard all night. Good crowd, great music. Thank you Deko-ze!

WAH! Scooby-Doo Cartoons... oh man, people would've been totally going 'round pointing at us then... shucks.
Aren was right though, we needed some serious Scooby-Snacks (me moreso, I have a super-fast metabolism).
I really liked System -- especially for my first time. I'd love to go back, but without the wedges next time. My poor toes! :( |

Hahaha! I saw Aren and Tracey (she spells her name the same way my sister does).
EndlessWave, so nice to have finally met you! Nice Radioactive Raver costume!
Had a great time with GLTV, and had some good laughs about the white guy dressed up like Mr. T and the guy dressed as a baby... I bet he pulled that soother out from an old candy raver costume! |
