Wow!! Sick night!!
I really liked Andy's set, but I think the big flaw was the bass. I had heard about 80% of the songs he had spun and about 8/9 songs sounded as you would want to hear them, the rest I thought were ruined by too much emphasis on the bass. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone since I know it's a club that thinks 'harder is better', I just think someone like Marcel Woods would be alot more effective on a sound system like this, where as Andy would be better on a system with more attention based on melody.
Anyhow, really great turnout by the TA's. I would start to name everyone, but it's a compliment to the night that there are too many that I don't even wanna start then forget someone:crazy:. Great atmosphere throughout the night. From the last half an hour of Chiclet's set, until when I left about 45 minutes into Mark Oliver's set (when he was spinning a remix of 'Hello Strings'), the atmosphere was really rocking.
You guys are really good with the ID's but I'll still throw in a couple that you might have missed....

Anyhow great night for me.. hopefully you e and BTW, best I've heard Mark Oliver! Great to hear 'Lyteo' but honestly, the song needs to be retired from now on :p. He was seeming to be building a nice momentum, too bad my ride wanted to go.

wow what a great night
its been almost 2 months since ive gone out and what a night to come back. andy moor really blew me away with all those tracks and let me tell u taht i didnt stop one bit. even at the end i was pumping it. from start to finish, track after track, bomb after bomb, he kept going and it was incredible!
MO played some really wicked tunes taht kept everyone pumped till even after moor.
i love that there was soo much space to dance, it was amazing. and at the end we had the whole floor to ourselves.
aweseome to see all the TAs again. i have pics and vids uploading so just hang tight. the vids arent so great, but the music is what i filmed it for. |
