View this Thread in Original format bigjimslade002 as i play out more and more i relize i need to become more and more familiar with the cdj 1000 setup. i can afford ONE. now the cdj 800 is very similar in layout so it would be easy to make the transition between home and club i think, and im wondering if im going to be really using all the features on the 1000. i can afford two cdj 800's. what say you?anybody use em both or have one of each? Basstard im in the same predicament altho i have decided to invest in ONE CDJ-1000. 2 reasons: 1) the girls love it. 2) i spin vinyl mostly so i have no need for 2 CDJs SteelWolf i say 2 800's. DO you spin lots of CD? that would be my deciding factor... i spin mainly CD now that i'm almost entirely a goa / psy DJ so... but i still spin vinyl too. Demoted 2 800's. They're good enough and it's better to have two good ones than one great one.
