PvD didnt remixed this track, someone just ripped it from his latest CD
Politics Of Dancing, Its just a miz he made between two tracks. |

I might be wrong but, I've read an interview with PVD, where he said that Politics Of Dancing, contain his own remix of Rapture, that he remixed it spesially for the Politics Of Dancing CD!!!:) :) |

Well not exactly
The concept of his CD was to do something different with the tracks and reowrk them a bit, thats why it sounds like a remix, he just added some beats and stuff.
But its not an official realease, and you will notice it ends with a fade where the next track comes in. |

Your right about the "Paul van Dyk remix"!! he actually reworked every track that he used in the cd, and he said in the inreview that Rapture would have sounded difrent if he should actually have remixed it!! I rememberd wrong, and you were right..But the way Politics of dancing is a great mix cd!!! :)
And you are right about the mp3 file that can be found on the net, I lisened to it last night, it's just track 6 and 7 from the cd that have been put together, and in the end of the song you can hear the vocal from track 8, very weak before the sound totally disapair!!!
But since the PvD rework of Rapture sounds diffrent than all the other mixes, it's only fair that we can vote on the PvD remork of Rapture in the pole,even if it's not a remix!!! it sounds great!!!
But my favorit is the Riva remix on first, Deep Dish 2nd and than AvB on a 3rd. |
