Are there any DJs with long hair? I cut mine yesterday... 7 inches down to 1 inch.. WOW, I feel so naked. Whats next in my quest to perfect my DJ look, a grizzly beard??

i just don't have long hair, and therefore really have no stake in what is to be writ in here. :rolleyes: sorry, dude, i'm babbling. i'm a tad stoned and really bored. for pity's sake just let me write here to ease my bored little mind. thanks. i knew you wouldn't mind. you minneosota folk are always so nice. have you seen fargo? i think that's in minnesota, or was it one of the dakota's? mah, i can't remember. anyways, that movie's pretty good. well, i've wasted enough of your time, mister. i think i owe everyone who reads this about 15 seconds of life.

| Sasha used to have shoulder length hair (imo he looked a bit like that dude who came out of the painting in Ghostbusters 2), Oakie used to have a nice mullet, and Tom from Chemical Brothers has just cut off his long hair :) So it's not just you mate. |

HEY!! I cut mine too 2 days ago after 2 years of letting it grow...
I tend to regret it and then again love myself for having done it. It's weird..especially those hypocritical reactions from family and friends who i shocked..
recently they have been like "ey..thats beyond the good taste, not beautiful anymore..i think the short one fitted better" and now ppl come and tell me that ive made the biggest mistake of my life and that i look like a 16 year old now and ..:)
at least taking a shower and cleaning one's teeth is much more comfortable right now without the hair hanging...but i realized as well that winter IS cold .pros and cons, thats life
ah and after 2 years of no gel use..its time for SPIKES!! |

thanks man! i love it as well, i love it so much I kept iy in a bag and its sittin in this cabinet i made last year in woodshop! It was really hard to do it, i sat in front of the mirror for like 10 minutes with my scissors poised saying, "i cant do this." things have to change sometimes ya know, i just needed ot shake things up a bit. In only 7 more short months itll be just as long as it was, but in its winter color: black.

thats money... i would like to be able to have really long hair, but mine would just curl up and go out like my brothers does all the time except my afro would be HUGE!

TranceGiant: Glad to hear someone else can actually share the pain, its like youve let someone down (*the hair actually) after being dedicated for soo long, but i like it as well. Nuthin wrong with a clean cut every once in a while. Ive gotten a lot of "im not gonna talk to you any more" responses from people who loved my hair (hopefully there kiddin!! :p) And yes, im sure you can attest to this for everyeone who dosn't know, other people who don't grow their hair out at all tend to fall in love with others hair that is long. Anyways, ive hard it looks better short too so you could look at it two ways: win win or lose lose. who knows which is righ, i like to be optimistic.
***to allay any confusion about the scissors comment, i cut my own hair, OK?
BSE: It was filmed in Fargo, MN. Yes, ive been there, and NO i dont talk like that.... at least i dont think I do. Also, mullets bestow upon the wearer a power greater than any other known to man, i suggest you grow a mullet and then god will entrust in you the power to be the best DJ that there ever WAS and ever WILL BE!
Afterthoughts: Why the hell did I even post this thread, i think it was a tad late or something, maybe i wasnt in a good state of mine, i dont really remember. Whatever. Its a good place to just talk, and like we heard up there, just to ease our bored minds.
thanks to all who have contributed to this worthless thread and collection of ramblings.. maybe ill show ya what its like sometime. im too lazy to grab thue digicam though..... lata
