i dont know, not being able to ride a bike again in fear of some lady clipping me @ 80mph and total my new bike that paid for with my hard earned money seems like a pretty good case. i mean, you did work really hard for that bike right, all those months you saved let alone the FEAR that you have about getting on a bike again especially since it is your life long dream to ride a bike, seems kind of traumatizing to me. i think you have a decent case - :)

anyways, I can sympathize. About 4yrs ago my cousin got an R1 and I was close to getting an R6. I waited for him to get his then i decided maybe i should wait and ride his bike for a few weeks to see if i truely wanted one. 5days after he got it, during a break-in session in long island he was clipped by a car at 95mph. broke 4 ribs, both his legs, both his collar bones, and his forearm in 2 places. in a coma for 4weeks and came out with no recollection and heavy memory loss (didn't recognize me). slowly his memory came back but nonetheless he never sat on a bike again. Granted this was literally about 5 days before i was about to go get my bike (versus leasing a car) and oh how was i traumatized. Never wanted to sit my ass on a bike ever again.

4years later, I'm reconsidering hahah
once a thrill junkie, always a thrill junkie!

good luck man and glad to hear it wasn't serious - i say you take that bitch to the blood bank. because we all know how much you paid for your tuning fork and exhaust LOLS :) get paid!

I appreciate the kind words but you got it all wrong. the pount in riding my bike(MOUNTAIN BIKE). is for the exercise and so I wont have to pay for gas.

i was never hit at 80MPH, i was hit from the side at 15-20

Amen!

I have a good friend who used to work in the ER, so believe me when I say that he has some sick stories to tell about motorcycle accident victims. (I'll spare everyone the gory details of what I remember.)

It's just good that you're okay, man! At least you probably realize by now that life is too fragile to take for granted. 15-20mph could have been 50 or 60 and then it could all be over. Thankfully, it wasn't!!!

yeah thank god. but i dont think i would have to worry about those high speeds in this case.

the speed limit is 30, someone doing 50-60 would have to be totally out of their mind:eyes:
