Wow...what a nice, smiley, family-orientated, non-threatening media-liberal name for blowing the out of innocent people... :mad:

Al-Jazeera, the Arab news service growing by leaps and bounds worldwide and spreading its reach into the western world, has a new name for suicide bombings – "Paradise Operations."
An accredited Arabic-language translator spied the new phrase in the current issue of the Arabic-language news site.
In a story about the Russian foreign minister criticizing the Palestinian Authority for failing to combat terrorist movements, a paragraph reads: "Ariel Sharon ordered the defense minister Shaul Mofaz previously to undertake wide attacks on the movement of the Islamic Jihad, whose military wing yesterday undertook (||am-ma-li-a al cha-deer-ra) operations of paradise, which killed five Israelis and injured tens of Israelis – or whoever was standing around."
Previously suicide bombings have been called "ammaliat in-ta-har-i-a" – suicide operations.

Because for the most part that's true? Not speaking from the media but am speaking from dozens of military and history books through out all different ages.
anyways. anyone who would want 72 virgins or whatever is an idiot. The reward for bin ladin is like 20 million. you could get girls who actually know what they're doing! or you could go ahead and get your 72 virgins and hope that, at least, one will know what a dick looks like :p |

I think his point was that the media refers to the currents troops to hold those qualities. Which history books are you reading that the wars in Afganistan and Iraq are already in there? I think that the cowardly, sneaky and desperate is a more accurate portrayal of the state of the US troops today.
Agree with you on the wirgins though, 72 virgins is a silly idea. Its no fun if the girls is still a virgin:D
Off topic: I always wondered this...once you go trough all the 72 virgins then what...do you get a new batch or are you stuck with those whores who OMFG had sex once :eek: ... and if you get a new batch do you get like new 72 girls every day or only after you are done with all of them?
The concept of a beer volcano and a stripper factory still appeals more to me though :D |

there were many books on iraq and especially afganistan. but most importantly that it's through out the ages that the islam and eastern armies were slaughtered by the disciplined and extremely trained and prepared (and often not so prepared) Western troops, Salamis, Lepanto, Poiters in France, Midway Island, The British at Zulu, etc.
lol i never thought about what happens after the virgins...it's a ty deal if you just done doing them and that's it. Even more so, since they sex would suck. |

the first dozen or so might be ok, but then halfway through the night you'll be screamin' for a pro :)
and the number 72 is kinda suspect don't ya think, i mean who starts out at that number. it ties into their tradition of trading/bartering; some guy said 50, another said 100 and so they tried to meet halfway. |
