Hi folks!
Been awhile since i last posted any of my works in here. I'v been kinda busy.
anyways, i just finished my version of a tune that started as a collab between me and J.L, the two versions are pretty diffrent so make sure you hear both.

Let me know what you think, need some advise about the sound aspect of it...

wow, it's sounding real good! :)

You definately took a different direction on this track than me, and it sounds really cool. Your bass sounds rough and edgy which gives it a cool distorted kinda sound. At around 3:11ish when the kick drops out, it's sounding pretty insane... Great work on giving that dark atmospheric kinda sound...

The only thing I have a bit of a gripe about is the kick... The clicky part doesn't seem to be in sync with the rest of the kick or something... Can't quite put my finger on it... Anyways, not a huge deal.. but might want to take a quick look at that. Also, another small thing, but the bell pads that I made weren't exactly in sync, but I've fixed that around, so if you want the in sync version, just give me a shout.

But amazing work on your mix, and yeah, i totally enjoyed working on this track with you. Talk to you later!

cool, glad you liked it.

I sampled the kick thats why it has that high part on it, ill try to fix that...
and i actually like how the bells are a bit off..i can tell they are out of sync but i like it that way.

any more comments people??

Long long time no hear from you man, what have you been up to?
Groovy version of this tune, there's so many layers but all gels together to create a pretty huge sound. Really nice synths, especially the one in and around the breakdown, it's impressive how you've got all of the sounds to fit in without making it muddy. There's lots of nice swirling fx in the background - toned down slightly from the DJ Kreing^^ signature sound but very nicely done anyway.
I didn't notice the kick/hat synch problem until reading JL's post. Might be a good idea!

I got a comment:

When's our next track gonna get started :)

Hi

Nice start, kick sounds punchy, percussion is great. Bass comes in, humm, sounds a bit flat but ill get back to that. Nice backing sounds, i think you and jl have used the same ones but its cool. Background is nice and analouge and stands out, i like that, The bass sounds much fuller now, i jus think it would take a few listens through to get used to it :).

In with the breakdown, nice use of elements. The aincient sounding percussion and pads are great. I dont think this track woul suite a massive kick in and yours gets away fine. The elements are great and everything fits lovely.

Great sounds Cherno, Both your mix and JL's are keepers.

Keep it up.

I just listened to your mix. It sounds very full, and really intense. I like :). I love those crazy fx in the background :):)

Anyways, keep it up, as it is really good! It's going in my playlist along with jl's :)

I like the techy feel.

There is a bit of flamming on the kick, but it doesn't really throw me off. It actually give the track a lot of character.

Not bad. I can't say much more about it, myself.
