There's this girl I know (she's registered to these forums but has yet to post :stongue: ) that likes celtic trance alot and I was wondering if anybody here listens to it, or even knows about it? She doesn't think there's anybody that will...

I don't listen to it, but i've heard some celtic trance some while ago, it kinda like the Insigma, but with a celtic kick to it.

That kinda stuff with big haunting vocals is wicked! :D

I got authorized to post, so here I (finally) am! Yay!

I love these kinda obscure posts, so that precipitated my sign-up ~>:). Anyways, back to the subject...

Dagda was also my true introduction to Celtic Trance, although I'm sure you can hear the stray "popular" track like some of the earlier posts mentioned. Enigma, Deep Forest, Era etc. are all proponents of this ethno-dance/worldbeat theme, and although they get repetitive at times, they still make for a very signature sound. But if it's Celtic only that you want to check out, I'd say try Afro Celt Sound System. They make for an interesting listen anytime.

Keep groovin'!
