Most tracks seem to be confused with Asian influence with that of Middle-Eastern.
Way out West - Killa, PVD - Nothing But You etc have distinct Indian semi-classical influence (specially in the female vocal part). |

Possible. It is not very surprising to have familiar vocal styles transcend national or regional boundaries.
I have grown up listening to Indian Classical/Semi-classical vocals and could've swore my life that i was listening to one when i heard "Nothing But You" for the first time. |

You can assume its arabic sounding but i also think it has some moroccan influences as well. OMg, the voice of the singer.........

Music is music. Sometimes it sounds similiar, doesn't necesserily mean there's influence. |

Indian music has evolved from Middle Eastern music.
That doesn't make india a part of the middle east.
so there needs to be a clear set definition here. |

i've already mentioned this earlier in this thread. people often group indian music together with middle eastern music. it's very different. both in styles and sounds. |
