As far as I know, TA does not support the sharing of copyrighted files. This is why anyone trying to share signed tracks, or commercial mix CDs it harsly dealth with by other community members.
However, livesets like the one being shared in this thread are not copyrighted - although they do contain copyrighted tracks, these are mixed, and as such are unusable outside the context of the mix they are in. These sets infringe copyright law absolutely no more than those sets posted every day in the DJ Promotion forum, and those ones are certainly allowed - so why not ones like this?
Perhaps some clarification over the site rules is required. |

indeed, u got a point there. clarification might be useful. but as i was reffering to another thread (the link behind the word 'HERE'), look in that thread there. people threr only asked for a set, it wasnt even shared. still, the moderator didnt like it at all (read his reply), and closed the thread. it was pretty obvious that asking for sets, nor sharing, is allowed here ...
anyway, we're going off-topic .. i must say, that although i know it might not be allowed to post links for sets (=sharing), i gratefully used the link to get the set.
its a cool set i think. listened it 100% now. like especially that rank 1 always uses some classics, like airwave, silence etc. in most of their sets. it keeps the classics alive, so they wont be forgotten. |
