we are actually all the same color. the chemical that protects our skin against the suns radiation called malinin determines how dark we are. the more of it, the darker you are. the more of the suns radiation you're exposed to, the more malinin is produced, the darker you, and if your light-skinned, you get a tan. the different is the really the tone and pigment of our skin. not the color. |
Technically speaking black (and white for that matter) is not a colour. It's absense of colour. |

I don't think he cares about anyone but himself, his family and his base constituency, i.e. the top 2% that he catered to with his tax cuts. |

Yes it is. It's reflecting only a subset of the lightwave frequencies that we can see. That's what being coloured is. If something reflects no lightwaves of these frequencies then it's a black object, and if it reflects an equal amount of each then it's a gray object (or white if it reflects 100% of the lightwaves). |

| @ Trancaholic: Quick question, why is white not a color then? (I studies all this stuff in high school physics ages ago and have forgoton most of it). Unless there's a frequency that is just green (i.e. green != blue + yellow), wouldn't white be a color then too? |
