| i have had daves screen name for awhile now, we talk, and i wouldn't give out his screen name- nor anyone's for that matter- unless they said it was cool. with that being said, he does have the option of only allowing users on his buddy list to contact him. that's what i have since i had an internet stalker in college. :p |

On another note, AOL actually used to be fun when you could install software that would allow you to punt people offline, send email bombs, get their accounts TOS'ed, etc. - like 10 years ago. Does anyone here remember Havok Platinum, Magenta, Fire Toolz 3.0 or any other of those cool AOL progs? Anyway, sorry for the digression. |

Haha, well - I was running a good anti-punter/pinter at that point so I never really bothered. The best, though, was going into AOL chat rooms and chatting under another chat member's screen name. They would be like, "I didn't say that, I swear" while all their buddies would be cursing them up and down. My friend used to pick up chicks in Lesbian chat rooms and then towards the end of their convo he would break the news that he was a guy. That didn't go over too well from what I witnessed, but it was quite hilarious. |
