Scratching part only. :)

Awesome post! You rock!

For those who want to buy that aahhh sample, you can get them off Beatport. There's two tracks which have a crapload of samples, all joined together, back-to-back, of sorts.

Artist: Peabird
Track: Scratch Tool 1 (Original Mix)
Scratch Tool 2 (Original Mix)

I already bought these tracks, but have been too lazy to separate out the appropriate samples :p :D

Thanks for the post.

Checked out the sample.
While you can tell this guy has skills on the whole I actually think it sounds pretty awful. It does nothing for the track and there is no point in it being there.
I'm not against scratching and have been doing Turntablism for a long time myself but was not impressed by that.

Once again though, thanks for taking the time to dig up a sample. It's always good when people want to share stuff.

Conway is s good DJ and for all intents and purposes he is actually capable of much better than this.

Cheers

I don't believe that was the best sample I could've given you. Though i'm sure you've heard more of his stuff as i've posted it before.

Cheers for the reply anyways :)

No worries, and yes I know he's a great DJ, was just a little worried that this didn't do him justice more than anything else. :)

Yeah

http://www.specradio.com/conwayscratch.mp3 <---different than up above

I think that some people probably already have heard...but I think it shows his true skill a little more :D

It's good no doubt, reminds me of DJ Mike and that miami bass sound style scratching.
My only bugbear is that he does too much. I have always found that less is more if you see what I mean. But I take my hat off to the guys all the same as it's well done even if it's not advanced but then it would be hard to do a 4 finger crab to such a high bpm anyways he he.

Also for anyone else that listens to this, you get a really good idea of how key lifts work as this guys does this really well.
