USA has too much power when...

check this out:
The majority of us live by simple rules, and may not even know it. One of those rules is "what I see on TV, hear on the radio, read in the newspaper etc is true". This is something that the USA uses all the time to cover up something they don't want us to know. Since the States has so much power, and basically owns the media, they are able to put a spin on anything they want. (don't get me wrong they aren't the only ones who do this. they just happen to be the biggest economical power and thus the most powerfull country in the world, SO we see more of it)
A prime example is this:

We see one side on the news, and simply take it as fact.
I'm not saying that this video isn't biased as well, BUT it is something to consider. If this interested you also look into JFK's murder (a TON of cover up there), the illuminati, and www.conspiracyarchive.com

Well then maybe you ought to try presenting it as a personal viewpoint, rather than a set of facts that everybody else is ignorant to.
The title of this thread alone is belligerent. Did it not even occur to you when you wrote this that there might be some who don't share your political philosophy?
Your conjectures don't even make any sense. The "States" owns the media? What media? The USA is one of the few countries that has absolutely NO government-controlled media whatsoever. Even Canada has government-controlled media, with the CBC and "Canadian Content" laws. Ownership aside, most of the mass media in the USA is actually run by liberal Democrats who hate the USA, corporations, and success in general. That is why so many listen to Rush Limbaugh and other talk shows, because they present an alternative viewpoint that isn't seen in the mass media.
Of course, the Coupe de résistance here is the mention of the "illuminati"... what better way to instantly destroy your credibility. |

people are reading WAY too much into this.
first off, this is a forum aka "An online discussion group, where participants with common interests can exchange open messages"
so therefore it is my personal opinion.
Second I openly said that the US isn't the only country that does this, so I know that Canada does it too.
Thirdly if you think that the media (CNN, MSNBC, etc aren't some how connected, and run by the government, then you are more ignorant than you even realise. |

first of all this is old.
secondly no kidding the feds would grab the security footage for viewing before the media grabed it and compromised its integrity.
Who cares if it was a plane or a missle... multiple "quotes" from that flash media skit say it was one or the other and they contradict each other so badly that the only conclusion anyone could logically make from them is that neither side knows for sure what they are talking about if those quotes are from real people even at all.
Where is the American Airlines flight if it didn't hit the pentagon, and why would the gov't try to cover that up on a day when all hell is breaking loose anyway. I think every peice of 'information' in that clip can be equally contradicted by logical reasoning... just as could every peice of info we have ever taken in if we want to drive ourselves crazy worrying about the whole world.
My congrats go out to the guy that had a spare weekend to put that flash bit together and increase his bandwidth usage to charge more from advertizers.
meh.
personally since I was living in NYC area when 9/11 occured I'll stick with the whole terror crap explanation... its actually easier to stomach than thinking the gov't is out to kill its economy and 3,000 of its citizens. Are both possible, yes, likely, no. |
