Hi mates,
I would like your opinion on this sample
meaning in terms of mastering, mixing, balancing...
A friend was here to teach me how to master and mix...well it was short lessons but I think I improved (not as he did, he studied SAE :-/)
Actually I would like your comments on the sample I did from midi file of Y-Traxx - Mysteryland which I plan to remix soon. But I always try to work something similar to the original first...don't know it helps me understand the track and get it's feel :)

i think this is over mastered, lost the dirt hehe.
In my opinion sounds too thin, a result of over eq.
I was once upsest about mastering and this would happen to me constantly. I had to lay it off.
Other then that it's pretty good. Very visible sounds. |

| Booster, listening with my head phones, sounds great:) though I dont know much about mastering, sounds professional to me. Any chance you can share what you mastered it with, and some of the techniques you learned? |

tripudio: i can put up reason rns file for you if you like...
if you don't have reason I might put together a few screenshots. It's done entirely in Reason 3.02 a bit touched up by Waves LinMB and Waves L2. LinMB is a multiband compressor.

| sound good, but i think that the synth sound that starts at 0:29 has too much panning on the left side. maybe the kick could use a boost on mids. i'd like too see the .rns too if you can share it. :) |

| just a quick reminder it's reason 3.02 file...you need 3.02 or higher to open it ;) |
