i got owned.:D

Why did you expect that if it was a Delta Heavy DVD?
lacksesepsotygh
heh. wasn't the buenos aires clip from 2005 or late 2004? the delta heavy tour was from 2002, so it would be really strange if they included that :)

got it friday and let me say i'm disapointed.

if you think its VHS quality, well you haven't seen it blown on a 55" screen... it looks more amateur than anything i ever did with a handheld camera... noisy as hell, bad vue, handheld images, etc etc...

half of the dvd is spent in Miami, nothing against Miami, but where are the rest of the cities???

Not enough music, too many interviews, some of them irrelavant.

I download a mini video clip from sasha's website years ago about the delta heavy tour and it was amazing, i expected the same with the DVD but that was not the case.

Too bad :(

the dvd has two parts:

one where they (mostly Jimmy Van M i think) follow Sasha & Digweed to their different sets, with S&D explaining a lot of stuff, how they perform, how the tour was set up. It's all been filmed with an amateur camera so no DVD quality footage. Their is a very little bit of live footage eg when they are perferming, but most of it has Bedrock & Sasha songs over the live sets, which is very disappointing.

This goes on for about an hour depicting the whole tour, and everyone on it, which is interesting seeing as this was the first time ever an EDM tour was set up of this proportion. But they should have had live sound on all of bits filmed in the clubs...

Then the second part has more Bedrock & Sasha music with some visuals, which should make a cool warming up before going to a party..

All in all I give this DVD a 6/10.

Only if you are a real S&D fan you should get this.

First of all, I enjoyed the dvd, got it from Sasha's website couple weeks ago. I found the interviews very interesting, a must for those wanting a little insight into S+D's thinking, also Jimmy Van M is awesome for his aspirations and hopes he had with organizing this tour. Music was good nothing amazing, visuals were blah, though it was interesting how they came up with the idea, hint, its from the movie Seven w/ Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. Actual party footage was fun and I wish I could have gone when it happened.
Contents:
main feature: camera follows sasha n digweed as they prep for gigs, during and post gig commentaries about which shows they liked, disliked, general reactions. Interviews (relatively short) with other crew members who helped on the technical side of things. A lot of funny moments in terms of the two djs talking about each other's tendencies and mistakes.

extras: extended interviews with sasha n diggers and van m, i thought the diggers interview was great.
Also some songs cut w/ the visuals used from the tour and bios, discographies.
Extra's aside from the interviews aren't very stellar.

Just don't buy this when you are not a big fan. The advertisement for this dvd is pretty misleading. They make you believe you get some top notch mastered feature which will blown you away.

Oh, it's been 2-3 weeks and i still have not finished watching it. It's just a big disappointment and suitable for a sunday night only. I can call myself a fan of s&d, but other films are getting more priority so far. The quality is just too bad!

Thread progresses from so much anxiety to some shocking downhill reviews/ratings... lol
Be giving this a miss.
