Happy Divali to all the Hindus out there in TA land!
For those who don't know..
Divali is also known as the Festival of Lights and is celebrated by Hindus across the globe. It is celebrated by young and old, rich and poor throughout the Indian diaspora, to ward off the darkness and welcome the light into their lives.
To celebrate tonight, Hindues will light many deyas (small clay vessels filled with oil and a wick) to signify the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.
