Yamaha i88X for a soundcard?

Does anyone use the Yamaha i88X Rackmount Audio/MIDI Interface for your main soundcard?
What is the latency like? Are the drivers stable? Any problems with it? |

| if i didn't get a ridiculous deal for my current Delta 1010, i would most definitely own the i88x. i haven't heard it in action or even know of a single person who owns one, but it has excellent features, and is made by yamaha so i couldn't possibly be that bad. |

how much did you get the Delta for? That looks like a very good choice as well. I've never installed an internal audio card. Do all those wires hang on the outside of the computer shell until you need them?
Yeah, the i88x seems good but I still haven't found anyone who owns one... Some people on KVR say it's good... |

| i would take the i88-x if you find one before the 1010. i have the 1010 with the breakout box, so the only cables hanging off it are the ones i'm currently using. i got my 1010 for $150 so if you look around you should be able to find a 2nd hand one for that same amount. |
