Just for fun??!?! ing hell, this is your best tune so far :P
cool intro...
0:26... Kick and bass combo are just fine. Like hard dark psy should be... you've got some nice trippy soundscapes, wow...
0:50 ... the pads play a little cheesy dark melody progresssion. I wont be in the position to complain about ;) ... the atmosphere however is great.
2:20 ... the new perc layer is okay, but you should try to depthen it a little with either another layer, or key changes or some delay.
3:00 ... the acid now sounds a little too plain maybe.. made with the fruity TS404? Try spicing it up a little.
5:08 ... really good passage here with all the power unleashed. The acid synth works well in the background now and I like it more.
6:03 ... The acid synth gets much better now.
6:51 ... awesome breakdown before you let the listener freak out!!
I have not much to criticize as you can see. Was completely enjoying your new tune, it's a killer Psy tune with a nice load of Goa and Acid. Maybe it lacks another theme a little. It repeats the "chorus" three times but lacks a "bridge" a little. Anyway, I still love it. Keep it up! :) |

i like this very much.... the bass is awesome.... oooohhh... what sounds to me like gated snares.... sounds perrty neat... like the tense sounding synth around 2:46...
the kick is actually kind of annoying... i'd pass it througha filter to quiet down the high freq and put an eq over it to bass it up more....
neat sounds heh... wow...

Hey Jex, not a bad tune you got here. Samples at the start are cool. Wouldnt be a psy track without some ;) The bassline is really driving and believe it or not, reminds me of cyberneticas early stuff. Really machine gun style percussion.
This is very deep minding psy, I like it. I think it could do with some more variation in sounds and in the general theme as cybernetica says. It feels very cold and lifeless at the moment. Just some more spontenaouty here and there. Drop a really twisted melody for a few bars, throw in some more samples.. that sort of thing. Glitchy bass rolls are very cool and the synths for the most part are very well done. Melody is dark and foreboding and works well.
Mastering wise, it feels very centred and could do with some more expansion or panning. The kick and bass are very muted, but this seems a bit of trend in dark psy, so good work on that. Definately work on bringing those synths out more though.

Awesome trippy stuff - I like that kick and bass - its very hypnotic. FX are nicely done too, pads are quite creepy as well.
On listening more, I think the kick could do with some low end...but thats about it - excellent track :) |

I had a bit of trouble enjoying the kick... it was too clicky and poppy for my taste... I know you are trying to do something unique with that kick... but I think it would benefit more having more of a bass...
On the other hand the soundscapes are wonderful... Lots of ambient type sounds work well... Very trippy and evil things...
Might want to watch the mixing and mastering in general... things just don't seemed to be balanced... (for ex. too many sounds are clustered around the 800-1500 hz range and it makes your ears hurt if you turn it up.)
However, in gneeral... this is very hypnotic and evil sounding... Very cool :) |

hm.. I think the kick should have more fullness and bass imo.. maybe its the genre I dont know.. the vocals are good man :p nice fx's again lol. nice gated synth! 7:06 omg man.. Im imagining a whole group of psyzombies juming up and down very fast lolll sounds weird but soo cool.
not my cup of tea.
