Letters on Microsoft Word Running Together- Need Help ASAP!

On Word, I when ever I try to bold something when typing a paper, the letters run together. If I leave it unbolded, it's fine, but when I try to bold they act really weird. It comes out that way when I print the document too. Does anyone no what this is and how to fix it? I've already tried upgrading to office thinking that maybe new software would help...no luck. Any help is appreciated.

| i don't use word, but if there are any settings involving "tracking" or other placement attributes, mess with those. |

| Uninstall the program... then reinstall the program. Though if you do this with Office it may take a good part of your soul, but it'll get done eventually. |

| aww damn it. I would have uninstalled before loading office but i couldn't find the old cd in case i needed it before I could get an office cd. oh well. Thanks for the help. |
