Hey guys. I haven't been online in ages and after many many hours of work, tons of projects and thousands of famous/ crazy/ funny/ difficult/ ect clients my colleagues and i got a good reason to party.
Yesterday, the most famous and respectable world wide restaurant guide Michelin realeased the results of almost a year work of its secret agents who have been visiting different places in NYC and giving their reports regarding food, service, decor and whatever else they considered important to report.
For those who read The New York Times today it won't be a news but Le Bernardin (my home for last 2 years), Alain Ducass, Jean Georges and Per Se got the highest ranking - 3 Michelin Stars. Obviously - we started a day with champagne and finished it exactly the same way.
I'm happy for Maguy le Coze, who established Le Bernardin and it keeps 4* (extraordinary) rating for almost 20 years. I'm happy for Eric Ripert for being simply GREAT. And especially I'm happy for all my team and i'm very proud to be a part of it.
thanks to all who called / pmed me this morning with congrats. We worked really hard and we deserve it 100%. I'm happy.
:D

| Of course i do. I work at Les Salons Bernardin (which is like a private dining). I do private party consulting - weddings, presentation, awards and stuff like that. It's a multitask job as i have to take care of pretty much everything - starting with food and wine and finishing paintings on the walls or colors of bridemaid's dresses. :D If you have seen "A wedding planner" movie with JLo, i do something very similar but not as a freelancer (just sometimes for superPPX). |
