I searched for "tiesto" in thread titles only, and the search only returned three results. It didn't pick up some very recent threads which had tiesto in their titles such as this one though, so it must be missing something...
Edit/More: Sorting in ascending versus descending order appears to be broken. They both produce the same results. |

Yeah it's getting everything now it looks like. I got more results searching titles, but it seems to be because searching titles is searching further back (to aug 6 or so) than searching entire threads which doesn't give any results from before oct. 25th. |

Fixed.
I may have to put this back though - but - the reason you got so few results is because what it does is finds all the posts that match and then finds all the corresponding threads - the max is 500 - so if a large # of posts within the same thread all have that same word then your results will be less.
The limit is in place so that you don't get a TON of results back which puts a heavy strain on the server and most ppl would never check past page 10 anyways. |

'search by date' is now muchmuch better. Perfect for the tracklist forum :)
You know the small box in the bottomright to do a quick search? Would it be possible to put a little dropdown box next to that in the Tracklist forum, containing the searchfrom 2000/2001/etc?
Just so people can choose which year. |

Maybe you need to switch providors then. I can go to school, I can view this site at any other computer. And I have the SAME problems.
Your providor probably lies and gives you like...The Planet bandwidth :wtf:. Maybe you just need like a Sunfire 25kE :eyes: with a a OC192 backbone. |

'Search this forum' box in every forum is improved with date ranges
..it doesn't search current content right now but that'll change, I'll add an option for 'past week' or 'past 48 hours' or something.
'Search within this thread' is still in the works..
