First real trance party I have ever been to was this past NYE. And the only times Tiesto has been in the area was a weekday, days that I work. So I am contimplating going to this one but most likely won't. I don't care to hear the same songs I have already heard years ago. "Love comes again", "Adagio for Strings", "Lethal Industry"... they got old the first month I heard them.

Armin may play the same tracks city to city, but if you listen to his sets from even earlier this year, they're pretty different track selection wise. He's played different tracks the few times I've seen him.
Konijn
all djs play a bulk of similar material from set to set -- instead of a wholesale dumping of old tunes, tracks are gradually replaced with newer stuff.

fyi: tiesto brought out significant new material during his 3 trips to the ny/nj area this year.

Not gettin defensive. Just tryin to understand where you were comin from with "like armin doesn't play the same over and over". Yeah I know dj's will play their own productions in sets over a years time. But Tiesto plays after multiple years time and its rediculous. Almost like he just can't let a track go, ever. Has to play it in every single set he will ever play. I love a lot of the other stuff he plays in sets but I can just see myself listening in a club then "Love comes again" gets played and just wanting to walk the hell out.
