Hoi,

I competed in the competition as well at AP and here is what was my entry. Nothing too special, but have a grab and tell me what you think of it!

Full 192 kbps:
DJSpoke - Fall To Pieces (Yarune Remix)

Enjoy! Bye!

Nice bongos Jay!!

Everything sounds really tight, you did a great job filling the stereo spread with tons of tasty sounds!

Bass might be a bit too loud, though that could be my headphones.

Solid remix! fine fine work,
Trev

I agree on the bass m8. Thanks for your review. ;)

Compo?? Where?? Damn!!

DJ Spoke - Fall to Pieces, never heard it...

Anyways, your remix sounds great! I like what you did to the vocals :)
The rest sounds really great, got no further comments!

Hey jAy

Cool remix you got here - I always like your use of subtle sounds, and the bass is a nice change here. One thing though, after the breakdown I hear a lot of sounds panned to the left too much...but overall very professionally produced.

This is a neat productions of yours mate, the only Con I'd point out is that the bass is too loud and expanded for the track, giving it certain feel of emptiness because the rest of the sounds seem to be a bit overshadown by this bass.
But overall is nice production.

Yep, cheers guys :)

great, i'm really liking this. clean and well produced/mastered(what do you use for this?). Instrumentation is premium and the 8min goes by really fast and wonderfully w/ mixable outro too- nice...
i like the bassline where it is, sounds great on my system.

Mastering is a little funny... not distorted or anything, but it lacks mids massivly... if you listened to it on a spectral analyzer, you would see this... I recommend Waves PAZ :)

I like the synth you used for the main melody (that playes at 5:40). Sort of funny that the vocals sound a bit off to me. :wtf: But for the most part, they fall on teh beat... whereas in mine, they fall on the beat almost every syllable :toothless (perhaps how you did it is how it was meant, how I did it is just how I heard it in my mind).

Over all, good (not great, but good). I would give it 4th or 5th best in the contest.
