for all who didnt know i put myself on self impose detox 5 weeks ago. and today is the day when it all starts again.... bring on the madness
the next 48 hours are going to be nothing but pubs clubs and drugs... well maybe not as many drugs, the odd joint perhaps, but alot of alcohol. infact Cheers to the COR (takes sip of delicious single malt scotch (18 yr old))
it feels good to be back to normal again |

Tamnavulin (18 yr old), and i also have a couple bottles of glendfiddich 15 yr. and la piece de la resistance.... 16 yr old lagavulin.....
for a mature whiskey it tastes pretty young still, very distinct oak characteristics. a lovely dram .....
and to answer your question, end of september i was at teh end of a very long binge (7 months) of being hammered at least once a week if not longer and then my body started to not handle the booze so well anymore. kidneys and liver had had about as much as they could take so i decided to quit drinking for a month and quite smoking forever. didnt touch a drop of alcohol for 5 weeks, feel a hell of alot better, so what better way to celebrate than to get completely and totally fuxored.... |

| all depends on your taste. i prefer not tasting the hair of the dog firs thing in the am, since its legal here in canada, the 14 yr old is my fav :D |

Baah! Who cares how many years old it is? At the end of the day it's still a blend!
Now if it was a nice single Islay malt like a Laphroaig then we'd be talkin... even if it was only 10 years old. |
