Excite: ShadowLounge was shut down months ago unfortunately :( Space's resident WAS Edgar V, now its Oscar G (has been, actually), and Ivano Bellini... both decent prog-house DJ's.... Space only really spins Prog. house unless a big-name trance DJ comes...

Yeah Space's dresscode is usually really strict... for clubs in Miami, it is usually the creme-de-la-creme type stuff... i was actually VERY surprised that cover was only $20... a record low - thats usually how much admission is if no-one special is there! but if you take a stroll through the valet-parking lot, its all lamborghinis, ferraris, Porsche's, mercedes, and BMW's.... no one messes around down here, LoL..... and no, there were no VW's in the valet! :p :)

Some schmuck was bouncing this around in Space and thought he was cool... as you can see by the pic, he looks like the guy from the Verve Pipe.... AND he was a dork. :) i don't know how he got IN with this thing...
here is the non-desktop-screenshot version of that group picture i had ( :p to slylee!)
and here are some other pics from inside Space that i managed to Snap off before the bouncers kicked our asses (yes, they are dicks there - no cameras, no glowsticks, no rave lights...... pretty soon it will be no smoking and no dancing! :p :) )
....and i had other pictures that were requested NOT to be put up (again, :p to slylee!)
and all the attempted pictures of PvD didn't come out, b/c he's so far away up in that booth, lighting is shining ON you, so flashes won't come out (as you can see).... plus trying to sneak the camera up without the bouncers seeing is really hard....
I gave his set a 7 out of 10... i know PvD is not my favorite- i went to go see other TA's and to have fun :) it was still great, and i'm a BIG sucker for some songs (like when PvD did his best DJ Tiesto imitation by playing Ralphie B's Massive - i go absolutely APE when that song gets played in a club.... and then marco v's simulated... great stuff surprising to hear from PvD.... but good!)
then i was really surprised when PvD slid some techno tracks in there... that was good too... can't remember hearing that out of PvD on all those livesets i donwloaded off AG....
and then PvD did his best DJ Jean imitation and played some (IMO) cheesy hard-trance song, that still made me want to jump but was oh-so-cheezy..... and later he played a song that i really want... a NON-VOCAL mix of Ayumi Hamasaki's "M" (above and beyond remix)... but NO VOCALS!!! i was like WOO-HOO!!
basically, like trance[]control-fan said, the first hour and a half was "eh".... but after that it was mostly good. My personal favorite part of the night was when people were hanging on to the DJ booth to get autographs and to "touch" PvD.... PvD was literally punching the fans... trying to get them off the booth... i was laughing my ass off.... funniest thing i have ever seen a DJ do... PvD got so pissed it looked like he wanted to leave at that point. :)
Obviously i got to meet Twilogoddess and Redeye, and they are some of the nicest people.... a lot of respect to them for coming all the way down here and showing up... and they are great people, so be nice to them! (hehe, not that everyone isn't already...) and of course slylee and mr. x..... very cool duo... predict more club-sessions with them in the future :) ... .and of course TC-fan... always shows, and always cool..... and there was another TA there that wasn't in any pictures (he got lost from us at one point), DJ-pushbutton.... so we had fun....
sorry for the long post, posting pics and reviewing the show (i know people are getting sick of my posts, LoL....)

Tiesto is not the ONLY 1 who plays massive, hun. Massive has become an anthem. PVD has been playing Massive & Simulated for months. It wasn't the greatest set from Paul but none the less I had a good time. It was great to finally meet U & Faye :)
