i just lost all my bookmarks

i am fuking pissed, weak and powerless. I never would've suspected of firefox being so gay on me.
I tried setting the default profile, still nothing.
Weird thing is all my plugins are still there :(
now TA is my only bookmark |

go to your firefox directory and see if the bookmark.html file is there or if it is other profiles do a massive search for it before giving up.. |

You should just set your homepage to http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/ and then you won't even need bookmarks! :D |

there is a bookmark file there, but not sure what it contains, when i use import form that file, nothing changes :(
and i only have 1 default profile |

| lemme guess, this happend while your computer crashed on you and you had firefox open. that happend to me, twice. first time i lost a bookmark.html with 200+ entries, second time, i had 100+ entries |

just open it then with explorer.. it may contain all your old bookmarks! |

| i think it happened, when i was doing a few things ;installing or burning some , and i accidentaly opened IE |

| You won't find the bookmark in the firefox folder in the program files directory, But its in another folder, on your C: Drive, Go into the Documents and Settings folder, Go to the name of the folder that is your current User account, You will see 3, All Users, Default Users and then the name of your User Account, Go to that one, When in that folder, Go into the Application Data folder, In there you should see a folder called Mozilla, Go into that, When in there, You'll see the Firefox Folder, Go into that also and then you'll see a folder in there called Profiles, Go into that, and you might see a folder with some random name For example, Something like w7wor7ey.default, In that folder will be your bookmarks.html file. |
