FRESH OFF THE DEX:::
Here is the 1st installment of my new mix series, “ A Tribute To...”, a series where I select one of my favorite labels and create a mix with only tracks from that label.
(These are all LIVE mixes. No preplanned tracklists, re-recording, editing/cutting etc...)
This was my tribute to the Dutch super label, ASOT, home of #3 trance superstar Armin Van Buuren.
A State of Trance is one of the major sub-labels under AvB's massive Armada Parent Record Label and is also one of the world's leading trance/progressive
labels. I am a big fan of all their records and their artists, so a tribute seemed to be in order. :P
This mix is was made with ONLY A State Of Trance records, and I selected them from
earlier ASOT releases, # 1-20.
Recorded LIVE, ONE shot, NO cutting, NO editing...
for YOUR EARS only...

I'm glad to see the Florida and New York forums have some nice people on here because I got my head taken off my the Atlanta and Texas forums for posting the set..
Didn't know posting a trance set on tranceaddict would rile so many people up on a Sunday afternoon... ;)

| so far the mix is good, but did you know that at the begining it skips a bunch of beats then goes silent for a few seconds then starts again like it wasn't supposed to happen? |

yeah, just had a friend doing a sound check for some levels, hehe
this wasnt a planned mix so i just threw it up once I listened back and heard it turned out nicely.

i remember when Push Through was first being played before release and it was called Cosmos. at the time, Mr. Sam & Fred Baker pres. As One- Forever Waiting (MIKE Mix), Robert Gitelman- Things 2 Say, and Green Martian- Wizardry were out as well.
those were some gooooood times :D |
