| here is the solution, obviously you have downloaded the k-lite codec pack. ok, this is what you do. if you have any special media player classic settings, you might wanna do a copy of the ini and keep it in a different folder. reboot computer. then download the latest k-lite codec pack. install the k-lite codec pack, but remember to NOT check the box that says windows media video vp6 (or something). the other options you pick yourself. after finishing the install of the k-lite pack, reboot. then afterwards, open a wmv in windows media player, if it doesn't crash, then it worked. |
