Definitely King Unique.
Sasha hadn't quite mastered the Ableton thang for his Essential Mixes (although he's kickin' ass with it now) - and Lawler's mix was left off the ballot for good reason. :wtf: |

I've listened to almost all of the essential mixes this past year, and I'd have to say that many of the best ones were left out of the poll for some reason. Best ones in my mind would be Tania Vulcano and Loco Dice at DC10's legendary Circo Loco Party. I also loved Gabriel and Dresden's E-mix from WMC.

Mine would have been the Circo Loco at DC-10 mix without any doubt. That mix had everything I would have loved to hear at a sketchpad on monday afternoon after being up for 3 days straight.
But since it's not on, I'm going to have to give all the mixes another listen before I decide....Most notably, the King Unique mix, Pendulum's, and Sasha's. |
