The cheapest place to buy them that I have found is Chemical Records in the UK.
Even with the exchange rate and shipping, it is still at least $100 cheaper than buying them from an Australian shop.
Not sure how much it will cost in US dollars though..... |

| Try http://etronics.com (eastern USA) - I got other Senn headphones there at a good price and in the past (a year ago) they had the HD25 cheap (only $140 or so but I don't remember exactly). However recently when I check their site they no longer have the HD25, only the HD25SP which is totally different. Try emailing or contacting them and maybe they can get the HD25. |

The cheapest place to find a HD25 is second handed...
The HD25 is just so strong that almost noothing can break, so take the chance to buy a second hand.
Even if there is something whrong or broke on your second handed HD25, you can always fix or change every little part. That every part is replaceable is,i think, the best advantage of the HD25. Very Strong HP and al parts are changeable.
I bought mine second handed for a price that was a laugh, i never regretted it, allthough i'm going for the longer (3meter) cable in the future. |

Well thats bull for a start.
However, you are correct that everything is replacable (even down to the small screws which sennheiser UK sent me free of charge last time) so no worries there.
If you are after the 25Sp's then get on ebay and get yourself some of the british airways ex concorde stock ones.... brand new, unused, and with the british airways logo on. there are something of a bargain too! |
