Ok, basiaclly ive got a bass channel in the mixer witht the volume sidechained to the peak controller. Sounds fine when im just listening to it within FL, but as soon as I go to render to wav, the sidechaining dissapears (and obviously sounds horrible when the kick + bass collide).

Anyoen got any ideas? I got no idea what to do =(

Upload FLP so we can try to help you.

Im at work right now, i'll upload it when i get home.

Basically the routing goes like this

Atmosphere (bass) -> 3 -> 5 -> master
Kick (sample) -> 4 -> 5 -> master
Everything else -> *XXX* -> 16 -> master

Channel 3 volume is assigned to the peak controller in channel 4.
Channel 5 has a compressor (compressing kick + bass together - tried turning off, same prob still).
Channel 16 is just an EQ cutting out everything below 200hz.
Master has T-Racks on it (tried turning it off - still have same prob).

As far as i can see I havent done anything stupid there :conf:

Oh, I'm doing everything in 96hz, not 44, could that be a problem? Since the wav is obviously saving in 44? :conf:

Did you try other than Atmosphere?
as far as i know the sperctasonics plugins (UVI engine)introduce some latency,so you get wrong timing when rendering....
try others vst and see if it works!

Yeah I get latency as well when rendering a tune with an atmosphere track to WAV. Any way to get round it?

The good news is FL 6 will have latency compensation on mixer tracks,but for now,someone post a DLL file that reduce the latency on the FL forum (link)
or you can try the voxengo latency delay!

Maybe a bug with the automation? Check if you have any automation tracks that turn the sidechaining off in your project.

Yeah, its the latency :(

I actually noticed that problem with the latency before on other tracks and just assumed i screwed soemthing up haha.

I don't have this problem with any other synths. But, luckily I managed to reproduce the same sound (roughly) using a few triangle IIs lol.

Problem solved i guess.

Someone should sticky that latency dll fixie thingie
