I'm probably going to get pounded for this, but I LOVE happy hardcore! When I'm not spinnin' my top trance tracks, I've got some killer happy hardcore on my decks!:p I thought there would be a couple fans of the sound around this forum, but it's lookin like I'm a loner in this department!:toothless Some great tracks are (like anyone cares;))...

Man This track brings back some memories. I used to listen to this stuff a little but they all sounded the same to me after a while. Im sure theres only one woman who sings on hardcore tracks :D |

i have to admit i still listen to em sometimes
and Special_K why shouldnt u respect it just because it makes your ears bleed? every music has its purpose and its people who like it...that u dont like it doesnt give u the right to disrespect it =)

| Stuff From DJ's Like Vibes, Hixxy, Vinylgroover, Slipmatt etc was Amazing in its heydays until 2000 when a lot of Hardcore Songs were just Trance tunes played fast like Chicane - saltwater, Gouryella, Out of the Blue and other stuff, It kinda died out, especially over here when Helter-Skelter First closed, but I was getting more addicted to the odd bit of Techno and The Hard Trance sets Of Mark EG & M-Zone. Moving onto Trance just seemed a logical step to go into from that. But unlike most ppl on here, I can still listen to a nicely mixed hardcore set, its just a part of music history really now, sure its still played in small doses, but nothing would beat the atmosphere in 1995-1999. |

Hardcore definitely has its moments.
Sometimes it's just as good as, and maybe better than, Trance.
When I'm at a club, I certainly want to hear ultra-fast prime-time hands-in-the-air material.
For those elitist snobs who laugh at hardcore, well, you're just that, elitist snobs who can't enjoy music :p
BTW too much hardcore can indeed make you sick, but occasionally it's a great choice. |
