Turn Tables Help/Question

Ok guys, I wanted to get myself some turntables and some vinyl for the heck of it... I've been to some websites and saw some of em.. and they are not that expensive... all i wanted to know is what is the better kind. I keep on seeing belt drive turn tables.. and stufff like that, so could anyone tell me what are some good turntables/mixer i should get

Best TT's out there are the Technics 1200 MKII's...
Mixer... The best, I would think, would be the Pioneer DJM600's...
But those are v. expensive.
But you asked for the best, and to my extent, I think those would be the best.
I'm sure other ppl have different opinons though. :)

Vinyls on the other hand are ING expensive...
You'll soon understand... You'll be wasting so much cash on records.
